Alexis C. Upton
Ms. Upton was raised in northern Virginia. She had the opportunity to intern on Capitol Hill in college with U.S. Congressman Ed Royce, from the 40th District of California. After her first year of law school, Ms. Upton worked as a legal intern for the U.S. Coast Guard at U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters in the District of Columbia. She handled a variety of legal matters in the Office of General Law.
After graduating from Stetson University, Ms. Upton served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida for approximately four years. Ms. Upton tried over thirty five jury trials over the course of her employment at the State Attorney's Office, including several trials in the career criminal division. Ms. Upton joined the firm in June, 2011 and practices in various areas of civil defense litigation.
