C. Bryant Boydstun, Jr.



Mr. Boydstun holds an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell and is a board certified trial lawyer by The Florida Bar. He has tried over 100 civil jury trials to verdict and has been named by his peers as a Member of Florida Super Lawyers. He has handled cases in every major circuit in the State of Florida over the years and formerly served as statewide counsel for one of the asbestos manufacturers in that litigation. He also handled some 600 cases in the silicone breast implant litigation and has tried complex injury cases lasting up to three months in length to verdict.

Mr. Boydstun’s practice is focused in the areas of civil litigation, both commercial and personal injury; professional malpractice litigation; and probate litigation.

Mr. Boydstun was a longtime partner in the firm of Lyle & Skipper, P.A. in St. Petersburg and its successor Boydstun, Dabroski & Lyle, P.A. He was a partner for several years with Fisher & Sauls, P.A. in St. Petersburg before joining Abbey Adams in 2010.

Member

Mr. Boydstun is a member of the St. Petersburg Bar Association and has served in the past as Secretary and Treasurer of the Association as well as Editor of the Association’s newsletter. He is currently a member of the trial practice section.

He is a member of The Florida Bar and Tennessee Bar Associations and has served on grievance committee 6C, the Sixth Circuit and Statewide Unauthorized Practice of Law Committees, the Client Security Fund Committee, the Judicial Nominating Procedures Committee, and is currently a member of the Animal Law Committee. He is also a diplomate and member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and is past president of the Tampa Bay Chapter.

His community activities include membership in the St. Petersburg Kiwanis Club of which he is a past president. He is a graduate of both Leadership St. Petersburg and Leadership Florida and has served on various committees with the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce. He is past chairman of the Code Enforcement Board for the City of St. Petersburg.
