V. Joseph Mueller
After the completion of his J.D. at Cumberland School of Law, Mr. Mueller was employed as an Assistant State Attorney in the State Attorney's Office of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida. Mr. Mueller became associated with our Firm in 1992 and became a Partner in 1996.
Mr. Mueller has defended insurance companies and employers in the areas of workers compensation and employment law and maintains the highest rating of "AV" with the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. He has served as counsel in numerous jury trials and non-jury trials as well as final hearings and has handled several appeals. Mr. Mueller also advises and represents employers in all forms of employment discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, unemployment compensation, non-compete agreements, whistle blower claims and sexual harassment cases as well as matters involving the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Mr. Mueller was recognized as one of "Tampa Bay's Top Lawyers" by Tampa Bay Magazine (July/August 2010 Issue). He has served as a guest lecturer in the Paralegal Studies program at St. Petersburg College and for the Suncoast Human Resource Management Association (SHRMA). Mr. Mueller regularly helps clients draft and revise their employee manuals, employment contracts, restrictive covenants, compensation plans, and other employment related documents.
Mr. Mueller regularly conducts seminars throughout Florida on a variety of topics for employers and carriers.
