Michael C. Auchampau
Michael C. Auchampau specializes in the defense of Employer Liability and Workers’ Compensation claims. He handles Workers’ Compensation claims from case inception through trial and the appeals process. Michael has handled Workers Compensation cases in every Workers Compensation district throughout the State of Florida. He is an approved Instructor by the Florida Department of Financial Services.
Michael also represents and defends Employers in employment related cases involving employment contracts, non-compete agreements, retaliation, wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, unemployment compensation, The Occupational Safety and Health Act, The Family and Medical Leave Act, and Wage and Hour laws. He counsels Employers regarding issues that confront them such as drafting and enforcing employment agreements, complying with and enforcing non-compete agreements and maintaining confidentiality of employee information and records. Michael is the author of an Employment and Workers’ Compensation law newsletter that is published biannually and provides Employers with updates regarding important court decisions and changes to laws that directly impact and effect their day to day operations.
